Seconds interval timer

A simple full-screen interval timer you can set to any number of seconds. Tap a preset or type your own, then press start. Nothing to install and no sign up.

Quick set

Set any interval in seconds. Common ones: 10, 20, 30, 45 and 60 seconds.

Want to save your timers and run them anywhere?

This page runs one timer at a time. The free Interval Timer app saves every timer you build, casts to the big screen and reads each step out loud.

A timer for any interval

Set it to 10, 20, 30, 45 or 60 seconds, or any number you like. The timer repeats the interval and plays a beep each time so you can keep your eyes off the clock. Use it for rounds, stretches, drills or a plain repeating countdown.

How to use it

Tap a preset or type the number of seconds you want. Set how many repeats you need, then press start. The screen fills with the count and a beep marks every change, so you always know when to switch.

Where the app takes over

If you run the same intervals often, the free Interval Timer app saves them so you are one tap from starting, and it reads each step out loud. See the full app, or try the Tabata timer.

Common questions

How do I set a 30 second interval timer?

Tap the 30s preset, or type 30 into the interval field. Set how many repeats you want, then press start. The timer counts down 30 seconds and repeats with a beep each time.

Can I set a custom number of seconds?

Yes. The presets are there for speed, but you can type any number of seconds into the interval field, so it is not limited to the common values.

Does it beep at each interval?

Yes. A beep plays every time the timer changes phase, so you can follow along without watching the screen.

Can I loop the timer?

Yes. Set the number of repeats and the interval runs that many times in a row, with a rest between each one if you add one.
