Repeat timer
A full-screen timer that repeats a set interval as many times as you want, with a beep on every repeat. Set the seconds and the number of repeats, press start and go. Nothing to install and no sign up.
Seconds per interval. Keep rest at zero to repeat straight through.
Want to save your timers and run them anywhere?
This page runs one timer at a time. The free Interval Timer app saves every timer you build, casts to the big screen and reads each step out loud.
What is a repeat timer?
A repeat timer runs the same interval over and over and gives a signal each time it comes round. Set one length, say how many times you want it and it counts each interval for you with a beep to mark the change. It is handy for drills, intervals, study blocks or timing your way through a list of chores, so you can keep your eyes off the clock.
How to use it
Set the length of the interval and the number of repeats, then press start. A short prepare countdown gives you a moment to get ready, then the timer runs your interval and a beep marks each repeat. Keep rest at zero to flow straight from one interval into the next, or add a few seconds of rest for a short break between each one.
Where the app takes over
If you run the same intervals often, the free Interval Timer app saves your timers so you are one tap from starting, and it reads each step out loud so you never have to look down. See the full app, or try the Tabata timer for a classic HIIT format.
Common questions
What is a repeat timer used for?
It repeats the same interval as many times as you set, with a signal each time. People use it for drills, workout intervals, study blocks, timed breaks or working through a list of tasks at a steady pace.
Can I repeat a timer automatically?
Yes. Set the interval length and the number of repeats, then press start. The timer runs each interval on its own and beeps at every repeat, so you do not have to reset it by hand.
How many times can it repeat?
You can set up to 50 repeats here. For a longer or endless run, the free Interval Timer app lets you save timers and loop them without a fixed limit.
Can I use it for things other than exercise?
Yes. It works for anything you want timed in even chunks, such as study sessions, focused work blocks, cooking steps or splitting up chores.
